Ecu codes: How long is a long blink and a short blink?

I'm either throwing a code 9 or a code 90. I've never thrown a code before so I don't know how long the blinks should be.

It's noticeable when it is a long or a short blink. I think long blinks last about a second or a little less, the short blinks are rapid...

a long blink is equivalent to 10 and short blink is 1 so for ex: 6 longs and 3 short = code 63

there isnt a code 90 anyway. code 9

Code 90 doesn't exist for OBD-1 cars, he probably didn't know what year... It's easy to answer something for the car you own, without knowing it's different.
