Flywheel?
your are supposed to at least have your flywheel resurfaced when replacing the clutch, so now is the best time to get a new flywheel. if you are definatley sure on going turbo, i dunno if you should get a lightened flywheel, because you will fall out of boost quicker when shifting. maybe have a couple pounds shaved off the stock one. i personally wouldnt get a flywheel lighter than like 12 lbs??? im not exactly sure. for all motor tho, lightened flywheel is awesome. i

Considering that it will cost around $75 to resurface and a new lightweight fly is only $200, then yeah, it is good to do. If you are goin turbo, then you don't want to go to light. The ACT X-Act Streetlight is forged chromoly and is 12lbs, so it would be a good choice. I believe that http://www.hondadriven.net has them for $200 shipped right now. The website shows a slightly higher price, but he has a sale listed in the 'sponsors marketplace' forum.

That is the price that I've been told. Of course it might be cheaper if you just hand them a flywheel, but the $75 probably accounts for removal, inspection, and reinstallation as well (even though they are already doing the clutch.).

$75.. that is insane. Up here in Canada it is $45 Canadian to resurface the flywheel when they are doing a clutch. $125 Canadian to shave about 3-4 lbs of it.
But i would definately suggest a lightened flywheel. Even if you are doing a turbo. It will help to spool the turbo faster. But if you go too light you might have to increase you idle to about 1000. I've heard of of the engine stalling out when you are in high rev and hit the clutch. Doesn't happen often, but it can happen.
I'm putting in a ACT HC5xtss clutch kit with an ACT pro-lite 600115, for my civic. Turbo will be going in the spring as well as the clutch.
I would definately suggest a flywheel. It you can get a quaife atb while you are at it.
