new texture from Rota?
i was looking on ebay and saw a bronze rota C8 w/polished lip. and it had a different texture. it wasn't bronze or sports bronze. it looked like the color was more rich and better. has anyone seen this kind of rim? if so, where do i get it? once again, it's not bronze or sports bronze, it's a different kind of bronze but i don't know what it's called

The color scheme is called Royal Gunmetal.
The only C8s that come with a polished lip have either gunmetal or black spokes.
Rota's "gunmetallic" paint is like a darker version of their gloss bronze.

yea, this is the one, i've seen another thread about this kind of texture before. but i couldn't find it. i heard it was very rare and rota didn't make many of these kinds. except, i want the one without the polished lip though

that color is sports bronze, and like i said before...the new texture is a shade of bronze...but it's not the bronze or sports bronze...it looks similar to the regular bronze color, but more rich.
