I was wondering if a C-Pillar bar for a hatch will fit a sedan? Do they make C-pillar bars for Coupes? And do those fit sedans?

I need something to attach my Takata harness too before I drop the money for em. Any help is appriciated.

i dont know about your 4 door but on mine there is plastic that covers where the seatbelt is in the back. you would have to cut that or remove it all together to bolt the c pillar bar behind the belt like the hatch guys do.

i got a seatbelt bar for my car, its DOT and been chrash tested. bar is made local in town, 220 bones. im selling mine now if anyone is interested in it, bar and ctr carpet has to go to finance a DOM rollcage.
i wouldnt mount to the C pillar though, bad idea.

I don't think i would want to strap a seatbelt harness to it but if it would help strenghen my EG9 I might be all for it.


Also that bar for you EK ROCKS! I want one too; can that shop make one for the EG9?

 

yes factory brackets.....

but what the **** for in a sedan or coupe.....they are used in hatches cuz there is nothing back there to hold one side to the other.....coupes and sedans have the rear seat bracket t hat is WELDED to each side of the car.....I see no point in this....my 2 cents!!
