Hf rebuild
Does anyone know where I can get parts to rebuild my hf engine for a reasonable price? I'll need the usual (pistons, bearings, oil and water pumps, gasket kit, etc. etc.) Please help. Thanks.
p.s. I realize that I am rebuilding a weak-*** motor, but I'm doing it because of the gas mileage. Thanks again.

ANother alternative is to source the 92^ CIVIC CX engines. Same 1.5 8V engine.
I picked one up for $50 with 130K on the ticker.
Or if you reall want the best in MPG the 92-95 CIVIC VX engine.
You'd have to convert to OBD-1 but you can get close to 60mpg
