The FPG, pistons, and ES inserts have been in there for at least a yar or two yars. You just can't tell b/c I suck at photography.
Hint:
I'm not going turbo.
The heater hoses are altered. One of the alterations is optional, but the other is necessary for the parts I'm installing.

The heater core feed hose is tee'd (mandatory). The return heater hose is shortened (optional).
The real question is why I did it. A new manifold is only part of the answer.

The heater return hose is shortened b/c the GS-R intake manifold is being replaced by a Skunk2 intake manifold. Since the intake manifold that normally secures that heater hose is no longer there, and the hose is pretty excessive (looping from right to left and back again into the firewall), I shortened the hose. Not exactly a 84.5mm sleeved block, but I thought it was worth showing and telling.
The other heater hose is tee'd for a AN-R race intake manifold gasket to keep the head from overheating before the thermostat opens.

Ya I always have trouble with the last one.
Anyways how much was the intake gasket and what else you planning on doing to your motor? Its a good start maybe some toda b cams.
PS. Riddles are fun, and how much does your interior rattle with the engine mount inserts?

You got rid of that stupid pipe bracket for the heater hose.
I removed all of that junk when I did my Skunk2 manifold.
The bracket is just a waste of space and looks messy if you keep it.

Right on. Somebody with a brain.
If you use the ITR main water pipe and thermostat housing (or just a 98+ GS-R thermostat housing), it would delete a coolant tee that I had to use b/c I'm keeping the OBD-1 FITV function.
