how does the sfc adjustment work, what do the green up arrows and the red down arrows represent? i think the - 1-8 means the rpm range but i am not sure how the arrows work for tuning please let me know if anyone here uses a sfc vtec. thanks
I don't have a Field SFC VTEC version, but I have the the SFC Hyper R on my MR2. The green and red arrows show you when you are adding or taking away from the stock ECU's fuel curve.
On mine, you can set the range of adjustment for plus or minus 10% or 20% with dipswitches on the back of the unit.
I like my Field unit except there is no parameter for part throttle vs. WOT like a A'pexi S-AFC or V-AFC, so if you want to set a nice safe curve for maximum boost or VTEC, it'll be way too rich for part throttle driving.
