how does the sfc adjustment work, what do the green up arrows and the red down arrows represent? i think the - 1-8 means the rpm range but i am not sure how the arrows work for tuning please let me know if anyone here uses a sfc vtec. thanks
the Fields is really easy to work...when you are in the 1-# range it means that you are in the fuel display. If you press the mode button once it will flash. When it is flashing you can change the fuel settings. The 1-0 would be rpm 1000 range and 0% fuel adjustment. If you use the arrow keys you can adjust the fuel as it is blinking so lets say you want to have 8% less fuel at 1000 RPM then you would press the down arrow and it will indicate red for negative fuel percentage. It should read 1-8. If you press the mode key again it will change the display to 2-0 and you can change that range. Lets say you would like to add 4% of fuel. Then you would hit the up key and it will show green for positive fuel percentage. It would read 2-4. You can repeat this all the way to 8000 RPM. If you hold the mode key you can change to the RPM display mode. This is where you would change VTEC and the Shift Beep. If you press the mode key when in this display it will flash a RPM. lets say it says 4400, then vtec right now is set to 4400 and if you want to change it you would hit the up or down key and it will change in increments of 100. So if you want to set it to 5400 RPM you would hit the up key while it was blinking until you got to 5400. If you hit the mode key again it will change to another RPM display and that will be the shift point....like a shift light but a shift beep instead. You change it the same way you would VTEC. If you hold the mode key again it will change to the speed display......this only shows KPH it does nothing else. You can also cut the speed limiter in the ecu by setting the dip switches on the back a certain way. It should be in the manual but if you need this I can give it to you. I hope this helps out.
