H22 IN EG EXHAUST ISSUES!!!
THIS IS MY FIRST POST, SO BE GENTLE! I CURRENTLY HAVE A 92 SI HATCH W/ A B16A2. I AM BUILDING ANOYHER HATCH W/ A H22. MY ? IS WHAT IS THE FITMENT LIKE FROM THE HEADER TO THE TESTPIPE TO THE EXHAUST. EXAMPLE: ON MY B16 SWAP I HAD TO SHORTEN THE TESTPIPE ABOUT 1.5 INCHES. IF ANYBODY CAN HELP OUT WITH INFO AND/OR PICS THAT WOULD BE COOL. THANKS!!!!
ok, first... turn ur caps off. we can see just fine.
second... with an h22 the exhaust will stick back a little farther.. i havent measured, but i would say u are close with 1 1/2 - 2 inches.
what yr is ur hatch?
in my EK, the prelude header and cat bolted up to my civic B pipe (this is temporary), it stretches my rubber grommets quiet a bit... but it fits..
hope this helps... sorry no pix.

The factory H22A header extends about to the point halfway of where the stock cat is. The mid-pipe needs to be trimmed about 6" to match up.

That's due to the H22A exhaust manifold downpipe being 6-8 inches longer than the stock Civic downpipe, thus moving your cat underneath the shifter area, thus making the floor board heat up when you drive the H22A motor hard. But works good is some thick rhino lining spray underneath to help disapate the heat. Driving open header all day long is just
