i bought a crx sun roof from him that he said was in excellent condition (no rust). opened the box when it got here and the roof had small rust spots on the top and the back underside was rotting away from all the rust. the box that it came in had chunks of rust in it too. he denied seeing any rust even though it is very obvious that it had rust. its in better shape than my current crx sun roof so i took the loss until i can get something better.
so just make sure you get pics of what you buy.
im not a happy buyer.

 

That is complete BS, the crx i took that off doesnt have one spec of rust on it. I sent you pictures of the roof. There wasdefinitley no rust on the top!!! You only asked for just the moonroof, but i even sent you the whole frame, and the motor, all free of charge, and i took a raping on the shipping costs. I told you i was uncsure of the condition of the moonroof udnerneath when it was opended up because i had never driven the car nor seen it open ( i bought teh car from a friend semi wrecked) and you still agreed to buy it. End of story.

 

Hands Down: I didnt see pics of what i bought from jamie (bought dc sports header,ww duckbill spoiler,itr shiftknob,shortshifter,d16y8 intake manifold)
The total price i payed all of this stuff was $425.00 and he was even nice enough to do it C.O.D. So he give me his # and i call him get the tracking number and it says <u> in-transit</u> and next thing you know it was here in 3 business days. Jamie=

 

Heres one of the pics of the sunroof, as you can see it has no rust on it, and the paint is shiney as it was the day it rolled off the assembly line. Sold it to him for $100 shipped (costed me $45 to ship) and i even gave him the frame and motor for free, and another interior panel (disregard the pine needles and leaves, i was nice enough to go outside and take pics of it for him in the worst rain storm we had this year in Maine, in my bare feet.)

Dude that cant be the moonroof i sent you. Looks like the one you took out of your car. The one i sent you had absolutley zero visible rust, and the paint was also shiney ( as you can see in the pic i posted) As you can see from everyone else i would never ship out something like what you posted and claim it was in mint. cond. i sell way to much stuff to put my neck on the line like that.

You bought the roof under these conditions, i had never seen the underneath of it because it has panels and such on it.

Way to change your tune from "that's not the one I sent you" to "i had never seen the underneath of it b/c....".

I told him specifically that i had never seen teh underneath of it, and he bought it under them terms. I said it couldnt be teh one i sent because the car i took it off didnt have a spec of rust on it!

 

problem is currently pending settlement
