Hi to all, first time poster here

anyway, i have a 99 lude, and recently, i am experiencing a rather loud flapping noise when i turn on the cockpit fan.. usually it doesn't bother that much coz the stereo's on, but is gotten so loud that i can hear it while driving on the freeway with the stereo on... does anyone know how i can access the fan and fix that damn noise?????

What you're looking for is the blower I believe. Something like a pen or a leaf or something equally retarded has made it's way down there.

It's back up under the dash, but I couldn't give you specifics for a 99 Lude.
