Have many questions, but the one that's on my mind now is what kind of exhaust setup are you guys running? Header/Cat/pipes, etc. I have a '98 spec R on the way, and I have not even thought of what kind of exhaust to run. Your help, comments, info would be great.
Several other questions include:
-which throttle cable did you use, 99-00 Si?
-radiator hoses?
-did you switch fuel pump? If so, what did you switch to?
Any other suggestions you have, whether I mentioned them or not, would be greatly appreciated. (Any little problems you had, or anything I need to know about.)
...and last but certainly not least, how do you like the swap? Fast as hell, or what?
Once again, thanks so much.

exhaust setup: JDM ITR 4-1 to Custom SMS Carsound Cat to Apexi world sport catback
What coupe do you have dx, hx, ex? If the cat is under the car (not vertical like in a hatch), you could get any catback exhaust for your car, any header for your motor, and have SMS make a cat with the length and opening sizes you need to bolt up.
Throttle cable: This depends on the model coupe you have, if the throttle body is on the passenger side of the engine bay you can reuse it, if it comes vertically out of the intake manifold(like a hatch), I think you can reuse it but it is much longer than you need.
Radiator: Upgrade to a dual core radiator(Pwr is good, or from an auto EK civic ex) and use 99-00 Si hoses
Fuel pump: you can get a walbro 255 lph HP for about $100. Upgrade is not 100% mandatory but the engine may not be able to deliver enough fuel under WOT. You can get an Si, GSR, ITR (all the same I think) fuel pump, too.
Engine is a pretty tight fit. You will have to lean the tranny side of the motor down about 45 degrees to get it to fit in the engine bay. Bolt the rear tranny bracket up first if you can. I think that is the hardest one to work with. Use your head and don't do anything stupid or dangerous(use jack stands properly, secure engine to lift properly, etc.), take your time and do things right the first time. Triple check everything you do. Good luck! You can IM me if you have any more questions. Btw the way....Its a BIG improvement over a stock sohc!

Here is the best EK swap page in my opinion:
http://www.phear7imports.net/s...6gen/
Honda-tech user name Trey put together that page. It is an excellent resource.
As far as intake goes, you can basically use any ITR or 99-00 Civic Si intake you want. The only major differences being are:
1. Some of the ITR intake have a larger diameter (AEM for example), than the Si counterpart.
2. The other difference is that the Si intakes will go through the vertical hole in the body behind the passenger headlight. The ITR intakes will go down between the tranny and radiator and then into the space between the bumper and wheel well.
A matter of preference for the most part, but the Si will give you the best fitment, since it is designed for the EK chassis(though I have run a stock ITR intake in the past with no trouble).
