Carbon Fiber...
Ok, Has anyone ever tried to replace all the body parts on a Teg with carbon fiber. SO far I have found the hood, fenders, and hatch. Have you guys ever seen the front bumper, doors, rear bumper, or rear fenders. I'm not talking custom, I mean like made, and preferably stock.
Just wondering how light a Type R could be with all this replace, and this would probably help get that 50/50 ratio goin.

What class are you racing in that provokes you to want such a light car?
What class allows carbon fiber mods as described?
You wil never get your ITR to have a 50/50 weight balance, but that is not important anyway.
Now that you mention it, I've been meaning to get some of these:

Hmmm 50/50 on ITR. I'm thinking that might screw the handling up a little bit.

you'd have to CUSTOM make all the panels. Sure they look stock, but they are custom, no?
Btw - who cares about 50/50 ratio. it's not possible anyways. lets see - proportional weight reduction.... lighten ALL panels equally, same weight ratio, or very close.

Yea I know the 50/50 is not possible, but the NSX made me wonder how far you could go with carbon fiber on the ITR.
Peeps was better than saying "Carbon Fiber ******" so, i guess cause I'm 18 the slang gets a lil lost in the translation.
ANYWAY, yea I am sure it could all be done custom. Just trying to think of ways to make the ITR more unique if/when I ever get one.

The ITR is a great car in stock form.
If you are planning mods for your ITR without having ever driven one, you should not even bother to get an ITR.
It will not be worth the extra hassle and cost over any other Integra.

Looking to be unique? Leave it stock
This is all personal preference... I really do not like the look of all carbon.
In order to make an all carbon ITR you would really need to have a tube frame chassis and wrap the panels around that. There is no good way to deal with integral body panels on a unibody car.
I would try aluminum before carbon - that would be pretty trick.

Oh if I did do all CF, I would paint over it. Just getting info before I buy the car, and I know you guys know what I meant by peeps, but its just so funny, cause no one really my age likes, or would have referenced the snack.

Nahh that ish looks as bad as the fake CF on our dash bezels...
So wait, to recap, this guy is looking to make his R (if and when he gets one) unique?
I agree with above, leave it stock and learn to drive it before you do ANY mods.
PS my Mother and my Wife both love Peeps but the yellow ones, I'm more of a chocolate guy.
