Can someone help me out with an exshust? I currently have a tanobe madallion. It has a very loud tuned sound, but I need something with a quiter sound like the porsche or bmw or G35. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Apexi WS or RS-R EX Mag are quiet. Only bad thing is they are sort a stock looking but still nice. Greddy evo is a bit louder than the WS and RS-R.

The EVO's have a high tone pitch sound to them. I am don't like them. I wont something that will sound like a ferrari or porsche.

Well then your best bet would be the RS-R or the Apexi WS. But as for sounding like a Ferrari or G35 good luck. You have to remember its not just the exaust that makes the sound its also the motor. Why a ITR and 8000rpm sounds alot diffrent than a 360 at 8000rpm.

If you want your car to sounds like a ferrari, g35 etc. get one of those. Your gimpy 4 cylinder will never sound like one of those. Which tanabe do you have Racing or Hyper?

Anyone have their stock muffler from a 95-97 EX, 4 door or 2 door with a 4 cylinder engine, the one with the dual tipped tailpipes coming out of the muffler, that they would be willing to get rid of?

Damn wish i knnew someone was looking. i just had my entire exhaust done bout a month ago. i let the shop keep it. anyway. How can you say the EVo sounds high pitched. Its one of the quietst cat back systems you can get. anyway i have dc header 421 magnaflo cat and evo catback on my 95 accord EX. I hate the ricey and loud obnoxious sound. YOu cant even tell theres an exhassut on it until you get it into the higher RPMs. go to Greddy's website. they have the SP EVo and i forget the other. The majority of people that i have spoken to think that Greddy is one of the best. it also depends on what kind of $$ you have to burn. HKS systems are about 800 beans. check out nopi.com also
Good luck with your purchase. a couple websites even have exhaust tones that you can listen to online. not to far off but...

no one can promise or guarentee a type of sound.. it can be in a range of db's but it cant always sound the same.. we do custom piping and you can take 3 accords and put the same diameter exhaust on all them and they all have a different tone. nothing major but all will have their own tone

it matters also if you have high flow cat, testpipe, headers, intake, resonators, muffler choice.. even the material the muffler is made out of will create a different Tone... also how its installed, if it hits the heat shield, or rubs your back bumper.. all matters
