14.8X possible?
I'm going to the track on December 19th, and the conditions are going to be very similar to those when I ran my 14.97 @ 93.82mph best (first run of the night). Since then I have learned to launch a little better, and will be installing my BSQ Icetake. I am also switching out my Bosch Platinum plugs for some OEM Honda ones (the name slips my mind right now, as it's after 2am. In addition to that, I'll be running on almost brand new Kuhmo 712s (14.97 was on BALD Kuhmos), and will try and get my valves adjusted before I go to the track. Do ya'll think a 14.8X run is possible? It's gonna be around 40-45 degrees, low humidity hopefully. Thanks alot
yeah...your car has the power. I wouldn't be surprised if you got lower. With a good 60' time you can get into mid 14's on street tires. Good luck and let us know what you hit.
I definitely will keep ya'll updated. I guess if I can run a 14.97 with just my little mufflers, I can run a 14.8X with a little better

Well I have a slick in a 9/25.5-14 and a dot P235/60-14 = (T.W. 7.5") (S.W.9.8") (Dia.25") (Circ.78.4") ( Rin Size 6.5" ) and this dot has the M&H racing compound would this help.

no thanks... I'm trying to do this on my Kuhmos, on full interior since this is my daily driver. I want it to truly reflect what I/the car can do.
ok, so I'm gonna have my BSQ Icetake on, and I'm taking out my right corner lense at the track... but it's gonna be COLD anyway, so would it be beneficial to take off the lid to my airbox, or would it be better to keep it on?

i hate racing in cold wheather....i always get a lot of wheel spin
i dont know if its from the cold track or my engine making more torque from the cold air
or a combination of the two
