Default ITR valves in P72 (GSR) head.....what's needed to make it work

I have a friend with a GSR
he bought some ITR valves
before confirming fitment

will they fit?
will the head have to be machined in order for them to fit?

My memory says smaller diameter stems which means new guides. I can't remember if the valve heads are the same diameter or not.

just had this done.... the valves came out of a 97 itr head...
seemes to work perfectly.
the only SMALL difference in the valves were at the bottom towards the head of the valve...
very had to see the difference with a naked eye.
but i didnt have to modify anything to make it work in my 97 gsr head.
