werd, harry was a paying customer, so i took the time. his dvd turned out well, and i heard it went over well at sema. im bout to pick up a sick camera, when you come down we will make some solid vids.

 

i need to get me a nice dig camcorder.
i didnt know he went to sema. did he tow the car out there? or just him and his pops went? did frank go?

 

i dont think his pop went. he copuldnt take the car so i mad him a 5min dvd with car footage/interview. he gave this out to potential sponsors as a way for them to see the car. im coppin the sony vx2000. its the don camera, i shot the footage of delsol with it. broadcast quality all day, it sux retail is 3grand.

 

you gonna sell the other camera you got ? that little *** one you always have in your car? i need a new camera, as much as kim denies it she broke my eye piece on mine so i can only use the viewfinder, and its anooying on sunny days at the track .

Thanks everyone! Things are going well, just need to do a axle upgrade and finsh up the tuning then we are ready for the 2004 season. Josh thanks again for the DVD it was a hit out at SEMA.

i dunno, I am going for quikest street b16 del sol which ran 11.47's which I am going to crush, then hopefully sohn wont be too far away...grab a 1 peice front end and gut the thing...tada then a full race car...lol but It wont be a full race car til like around 2006's race season...

Pete, I broke the axle at the line did not even move a inch. Only had 1 run than broke. The first pass was a easy one did not build any boost took off easy did not take it to the red line and ran 10.8 (still not tuned yet and at consertive boost) Next pass attempt, did burnout had it at 14psi on 2 step for the launch and broke the axle. Hey racinskittle Im not sure who the song is by? Sorry, ask Josh he is the one who put it together. Car weight is about 1900-2000 lbs depending on scales keep getting different #s. As far a HP numbers we did not do a full power pull as back then we were working to find a ignition problem. I will let everyone know Hp as soon as we finish up the tuning. Quicksol nice to see more del sol enthusits out there, keep up the good work! cars sounds great. Thanks everybody!

 

did they spin a little off the line ? or just grab quick . i was tellign frank, i would bring the revs up when you launch . when it grabs too abrublty you will break axles. unfortunately finding the sweet spot for that car might get expensive, but with those slicks, id be starting at 7k launches and going from there. worst thing ewill happen you will spin a little.
When you launch you want it to spin a little while its trying to grip, just enuff to make you "slide" per say off the line . kinda hard to explain. on low boost tohugh you shouldnt be having too much traction probs.
are those 28's or 26's?
