Default whats the most common cast manifold/log manifold here on HT????

well, i wanna make some DP's for some locals, so im buying a block/head for B-series, engine stand, manifold and turbine housing.

my question is, whats the most common manifold?
and i know theres liek 2 that are the same...inline pro and.....? rev hard or max rev?

just to give an idea of the stuff i do.... inatke manifolds, TIG'ing etc....

i dont wanna take anything away form anyone on here, so thats why imma just offer em locally

if im against any user agreement, please notify me, but i think the clarification o fwhich manifold is most common and hwihc 2 are same, should be within agreement
im just getting nicer at TIG'ing now, an di LOVE being at my neighbors machine shop (lets me use it for free), its so fun making parts, i just wanna pump out nice, quality stuff and i dont wanna stopcause im afraid ill forget, anyways, im just excited to see my welds are being so much nicer tan i thought!!! sorry, i had to, here a pic

thanks in advance HT

The Inline pro mani and my revhard cast iron mani look identical. I think the max rev is also the same but not positive.

i figured it was rev hard, i get confused with max rev, both have rev in their name

i was just told that there are 2 that are iedntical as far as position so you can use teh same DP

thanks fellas,

im just looking for used, cracked manifolds so i can make em according to manifold in case anyone knows

Max rev is a piece of donkey dick log manifold. However im sure there are a few HTers out ther who run this manifold. hell i use to run it, reason i bash it is because of fitment and the thought that was put into the thing.

I'd say the inlinepro/revhard as well as the drag. Just an idea that you might want to cash in on is making downpipes with cutouts in them If you need anymore help advice, or a partner in crime, just PM me

Inline Pro/Revhard Use same Downpipe

Maxrev is not compatible with revhard/inline pro

Drag donwpipes wouldn't be worthwhile producing because people are always upgrading

I'm not sure what you are talking about fitment?? My manifold fit perfectly, and I barely had to do anything to get it to fit. My buddy also has it on his car, and made 400+ hp out of it w/ only 18psi. In my opinion the maxrev = quality in my eyes. 3 cars in our crew are running the maxrev.

edit: Here's a pic of the maxrev on my car polished:

for about a year straight all of the manifolds were different. Flange placement especially. My wastegate flange (tial) place the side banjo fitting right into my head. I had to grind away at the head in order for it to fit. The turbo flange was not put at anysort of angle which put my compressor housing (regarldess of how itwas clocked) into my motor. The more i grinded the better it fit until i could grind no more and had to settle with a small leak. In order to fix this i had to run a couple of exhaust manifold gaskets.

and your post was funny because you compared a maxrev manifold to an inlinepro (which i find humerous because ones a great manifold with lots of quality, the other is a piece of donkey ****).

g'day,
Ryan
