Opinions on the best Honda manufactured car for drag racing, all motor and forced induction.

 

i think it's the crx with a swap.

 

I would have to say a Civic Coupe Dx due to its relitive lightness and long wheelbase.

 

depend street or full race set ups

 

i say an civic coupe with an integra front end........it has been proven to be more aerodynamic........

 

thats for all out drag racing though...

CRX is still very popular, maybe Honda short get a clue.

I feel that for full out track car... [B]the best chassisis the 92-95 civic coupe [B]

 

the Honda Insight...completely stripped, chassis weighs in at a shade over 1000 lbs. i've seen a stock honda insight stripped and gutted...that thing is hella light

damn skippy mine weighs 2359 stock dont have to worry about traction problems as much

the front end is to light on crxs, there are ways around it though stiff rear suspension, traction bars, slicks, ect.

i want a crx or eg hatch though, im just stuck with my coupe for now

 

Whats so wrong w/ ek hatch
Though my eg is bad *** i still want an ek

 

i beleive the wheel base on a ek hatch and coupe is the same

it hasn't run at all yet...they're still building up the K24 motor with the JDM Type R head on it and quaife needs to get the gears and the entire tranny built up for that beast.
that should be a nice project drag race car....also, they're still trying to measure ITB's for it
