Dude i just got the hook up on an 89 honda civic hatch and there is already clear taillights but just found out the totally clear ones are illegal around here and there butts about it, so i was lookin for eurostyle lights but could only find for a crx, is there any alterations that would be needed to put those in there in place of the clears?

This is just an option until you find the lights you want. You can try getting some candy apple red transparent model paint from your local hobby shop, or any other transparent red paint( i am not sure what they will have) and paint the brake area of the tail light(either upper half or lower half of light-i am not sure-i could be wrong all together, but you will figure it out). It works pretty well. Make sure you mask off well on the light, and remove the lights from your car before attempting this(this part if very important). Also clean the light very well with soap and water and then rubbing alcohol. Then rinse again with water. Make sure everything is completely dry. Then do very light dust coats until are is completely covered. Let dry and then your all set. Oh yeah, project takes about 2 cans of paint.
