Clear or Amber bumper lenses?
Well, I have clear lenses right now and like them...one has a slight crack in it though. I was thinking of putting
my stockers back on for the NOPI show. What do you all think?

or you can try using clear lenses with amber bulbs
looks good with lights on and this way they arent
so bright amber they look more like the 97 lights
that have a clear lense over the amber

imho, both look pretty good on a py...
amber will look pretty good though... since they're not cracked.
on a black car, I think smoke, red, or clear look better than amber.

i put clear ones on mine. i also put red bulbs in them. looks really good at night. the whole black and red thing is better looking than black and amber, to me anyways
i have yet to be pulled over for my red lights and i have had them for a couple months now i don't think cops around here really care about that all that much. the only time people get stopped is for underbody neons and **** i was pulled over one night for speeding and the cop just looked at them and said nothing

If you really wanna be legal, then keep em' stock cause the aftermarket ones aren't DOT certified. I've never been pulled over for my clears but I have an amber bulb for signals and white for the corners.
Amber bulbs in clear lenses is still illegal, but less likely to get you pulled over. Do you think there's a reason why I know this?
I would think you want it the other way around. Amber on the corners is where the legality comes in. It actually needs to be an amber REFLECTOR, not the light. THAT is the problem. The lights are not as important. I had hyper-whites in the front and ambers in the corners.
ALL of it is at the officer's discression. They can choose to enforce the vehicle code to the letter or not.
B2finity is correct, all of the aftermarket ones are not DOT certified.

I just saw something I haven't ever seen before... A 6th gen civic in a parking lot with BLUE corners. I don't mean clear corners with a blue bulb, the corners themselves were clear... weird...
