WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE K-SERIES BETTER THAN B-SERIES?
k-series has a better flowing head. they are overall lighter. start off as 2.0L.
I personally still love b-series.

i think most of it has to do with the head. i think it is just a much newer design that happens to be better imo. just look at some dynos of similar builds and you'll probably see a pretty nice difference

Honda bettered the b series by creating the K series but its still soo new not really anyone willing to **** with them yet.. </TD></TR></TABLE>
are you kidding ...i know of 5-6 people getting them built right now

I would say basic design improvements.
1. beefy *** block girdle
2. Better flowing head
3. The motor spins in the proper way for sequential trannys.
4. Possible Ram Air effect on individuals.
5. I believe that Alaniz said that the K series head almost flows as much as a s2000 head.

More parts available for B-series now, so that's my current favorite. Things are changing, so in a year or two the K-series may be my new favorite. The heads on K-series do flow better.
They don't make B-series anymore, hince endangered species
I still like B-series, but I got K series since my B-series was stolen.

I think most will stay witht the B's for now. In a couple of years I think that the K will be VERY popular. But as said before there is not alot of proven things for the engine yet. Although I believe it will prove to be an extremely potent powerplant. The B series will never die though. It is like the Chevy 350

i think the b-series is gonna end up being more like the ford flathead v8, arent as powerfull/light and are not as new of a design but people still use them.. the k-series will be like the small block chevy.. it will make hondamotors dominant over all others
Im gonna miss the B series craze though
Idk, there's just something that doesn't seem right about though engines. Too electrical almost. Can't put my tongue on it.
Also, expensive as hell.
Anyone know how wiring is for one of those engines? Pretty damn hard or no?

I love my B-series, but that said I'm all for improvement.
< thinks 230-250whp pump gas K series won't be uncommon at all in the near future and is scared to think what the big tuners will be churning out.
Edi: All motor that is

i love my b16, and if it blows...guess what, another b16...until it is not possible at all, I will alwayss own a b16...sorry I love the engine to death...until they are fully extinct I am gonna own 1
you're going turbo... i dont see any need for going k series. making power with a turbo b series has never been a problem. the only problem has been putting the power to the ground, and keeping the tranny/axles together.
