Painting: What am I gonna wreck?
OK everyone, bear with me here.
I want to paint the round rust-covered thing directly behind the wheel (it's what the wheel studs stick into, and I don't know what it's called, which is why I can't search for it).
My question is this: can I clean it up and spray a couple coats of flat black paint on it so it's just black and not rust covered, or is something going to seize/break/etc? (which is also why I posted here and not under the detailing forum) Also, do I need high temp paint for this area?
As always, thanks for the help!

you must be talking about the rotors. if you really wanna paint the hub on the rotor i would remove it first, give it a good sanding, clean it, then paint with some high temp. spray paint.
