I am going to re use my je pistons in my new block, so what rings do you guys think I should pick up?

I had total seals and they sucked!

JE rings = Hastings rings. Buy the hastings, they are cheaper.

Actually, last time I spoke with the techs at JE they said they use 4 different ring manufacturers.

Just dont use Total Seal....as you know they are ****.

I picked up a set of Hastings from Earl about a year ago. I could probably get them for you too, but dont have the p/n for them.
FYI. Most rings have industry standard sizing.

 

Yes Total seals are pure ****. They came with my Je's so I thought might as well use them in my old setup. Never AGAIN!!!! I setup them up just as per their directions and they still have leak.

My JE's are leaking as well, total seal before them...garbage. Im sick of this blow by, burning oil etc...car was broken in properly both times. Does anyone know of HIGH quality rings? Im sick of this nonsense already! TIA

 

Im going to try hastings again. They worked great on all my past motors along with every friend I have uses them and they have under 3% leak.
