I just recently got a jdm type r engine and tranny swaped in my crx.And I see that alot of you guys are boosting them.Just wondering how much boost you guys are running with stock internals,or if you guys are doin something to lower compresion before you boost.

Ohh and what kind of rpm's do you guys run at like say 75mph.I'm runnin at a little over 4000 and just seems a little high

Most that I have seen running boost on stock motors leave it around 5-8psi.

 

what he said. thats "safe" boost on stock internals, etc. the RPM sounds about normal. Mine is right near 4000rpm at around 75mph.
