Having trouble figuring my placement?
I've got a copy of the rules for SCCA 2003 and I'm having trouble determining what classification I fit in? I give a general over view of where i sit. The car is a 1990 civic HB (STD). The engine goes as follows D15B stock block, D16Y8 head gasket , D16Y7 head (this raises Compression to 10:1), D16Y7 camshaft grinded to new specs,Skunk2 cam gear, D16Y8 intake manifold port matched to a GSR TB, B&M FPR, (89 Teg)PG-7 ECU, N2 neuspeed header, custom exhaust.
I get lost in determining updating and back dating and using parts from other cars in my classification. Does using other these parts automatically bump me to modified? Or if all the parts come from cars specified in the same class such as "Street prepared class C" allow me to stay in street prepared? All the parts mentioned w/ the exception of the GSR TB come from cars listed in the same class in street prepepared as my car. I would appreciate any help that could be given.
Thanks-Jason

street prepared doesn't allow for cam changes either (so your custom grins is illegal in *any* car).
Sounds like street modified (assuming the interior isn't gutted), maybe E-prepared, and certainly D-Modified.

EP is out as well. the engine has to be one that came in that shell in this country. none of the 4th gen's came with a vtec motor, nor the mini-me combo.
