Default Videos: My 1996 Prelude VTEC in action

earlier this morning my stepbro and i went up to Pelican Hills in Newport where i could tear some *** in my Lude. we took the camera and got some footage:

having some troubles with imagestation.com you must "SAVE TARGET AS"

1) Here I am doing a little launch. This clip shows how bad my traction issues are. I got NOTHING out of 1st gear. This stock clutch has got to GO. Seeing this clip makes me realize how bad I really do need a Quaife.

2) winding out 2nd gear coming around a turn

3) in this one you can hear me bounce off the rev limiter in 1st (whoops) then fly by. after redlining 2nd gear i had to go around the curve so i paused before grabbing third gear, but once i did, boy was it NICE.

4) this one is from inside the car just cruising through pelican hills. I was pullin hard in third gear going around a turn and came close to taking out some bikers. (not really). 56k warning: 23mb

5) nothing special here, just me cruising in to stop. just thought it showcases the Prelude's beauty in motion.

enjoy Prelude lovers!

You have traction issues? You didnt even spin into second, let alone in 1st.

yikes. when i say traction issues, i dont mean it like "too much power" traction probs. i just didnt gain the ground i should have in first gear.

Try slipping the clutch alittle next time, instead of just reving it/ dumping the clutch

You dont have traction problems, you just don't seem to know how to drive. There is a difference.

A friend of mine had a street NA integra GSR (full interior) that ran low 12s on slicks with NO lsd 245whp

Your car seemed stock lol
