wheel offset and caliper clearance
does anyone out there have a +45, +48, or +50 mm offset on their 00si. i just want to know if it will clear the caliper. i think that the factory offset is +45 so disregard that offset if the factory offset is +45. the reason i am asking is i need a 205 width tire to fit under the rear fenders and i need to know the correct offset to get. also the camber i have is set at zero not negative, so a negative camber to assist my getting the tires under the fender will not work.
any suggestions and help would be great

do you have it lowered and if so how much and is the camber corrected on it????
my tires are sitting about .5 inches from the fender and my camber is zero degrees. with my other rims the offset was +45 with 195/55 and they tucked inside the fender...
the question i really have is will an offset of +45 with 205/40 sit under the fender with a zero degree camber adjustment ?????????/

if worrying about caliper clearence, it has less to do with offset, and more to do with the actual design of the wheel and it's spokes. you could have two different wheels of the same sizes and offsets, but one might not fit if has deeper or less curved spokes.
don't mean 2 thread jack but i just want to make sure. im saving up for a tire/wheel upgrade within this year.
so even if you get a brembo or wilwood kit, clearance should be a problem whether ur running +42 or +45 wheels?

well with those you would have to get a large enough wheel just to fit around the caliper. i imagine it has to be at least 16" on a big kit, probably larger. check with the manufacturer to be sure. other than that, there is no real good way to tell other than test fitting or finding out what other people with the same brake kits are running.
