Gauging interest: OBD1 B18c1
What's up fellas,
I guess that my GSR motor is up for grabs since I'm going with a different project. The engine has 190k on it, yes, 190k. It still was pulling 15.0's consistently with just an intake and Dinan ECU. The motor was (and still) running strong, but most likely needs a rebuild. I believe that I bent on of the intake valves slightly, due to the symptoms it's shown. I think the timing belt may have skipped a tooth when I was driving it hard one day. Motor still runs, but I simply don't have the funds for a complete rebuild. The motor consumed appr. 1 quart of oil every 700 miles, so rings are most likely the culprit.
Anyway, I may need a couple of small items for my swap, ie dizzy, couple of sensors maybe... but the longblock is up for the taking. I also have an OBD1 GSR ECU chipped by Dinan that is up for grabs as well.
I'm in the northern New England area, if anyone would like to come see the engine and hear it run, that's fine. IM me on here or on AOL under the name bigeyedfish42007, or email @ deucecoupe91@yahoo.com.
Thanks fellas...
