With 2 motors making the same power, same motor same setup except one has a smaller turbo pushing more pressure and one with a bigger turbo running less pressure. Thanks.

 

Intake temps, timing and cylinder pressure. The real measure of abuse is the cylinder pressure, which is a function of both cylinder temperature and ignition timing. Torque is a measure of these conditions, and horsepower is merely a byproduct of torque.

 

It will be the same, power is power...the boost pressure is irrelevent. The cylinder pressures will still be the same, that is what you have to worry about.

another way to think about it would be from an NA standpoint. No boost but they can still fail. It's not like turbo motors are bombs compared to NA, you get 250 NA hp out of a b16 and it isn't gonna last like one making 140.
