The sleeves are ok, but the springs suck.

Are you going to be adjusting the height of your car often?

That's one thing I don't understand about a lot of people with coilovers. Some people I know have had Ground Control coilovers on for over a year and have never adjusted them. Kept them the same height for the winter and everything. What's the point? It really is a hassle adjusting the height too.

After adjusting the height on each, it's a pain making sure all corners are the same height, then you have to go get an alignment done.

Why not just look into a spring and shock setup? If you get good springs, your car will ride much better than dropzones with those crappy springrates. $150 gets you H&R race springs with killer springrates.

true, but i think i'll be adjusting them often....i had a crx....and had dropzone springs...and stock shocks...omg..that was one shittiest ride ever...every pot hole that i went through,....itz like falling in the hole and climbing back out...its rediculus...but as far as coilover goes...i would like to adjust the height..that's why......i heard skunk2 and ground control are good.....but like i said...if money was falling off trees..i'd buy 10 sets of skunk2 coilovers....but as far as right now...bills is kicking my ***...

If you are going with coilover and are sure that is what you want get true coilovers. Sleeves are not as good as a true setup. Look at H&R or Tein they make good coilovers and remember you pay for what you get. Sleeves usually have shitty springs and in my opinion are just crappy. But I will leave you to decide.

Well if you want coilovers save a little bit and be patient. I just bought a set of skunkworks coilovers for 100 bux in like brand new condition. Just look around.

very true i don't like skunk's coil's but you can find them at good prices. if i were you i would save up 350 and get a set of ground controls ( they are under 350 put its just a nice round figure)

I got DZ on mine. W/ stock struts. It rides ok. Bouncy in the back. They are decent for the cheap way. If i was singe and living with my parents the I would go all out. But I'll spend the $100 and ride the cheap way for now.

I have DZ coilovers AND shocks and it rides great. Not bouncy at all. If you have any aftermarket spring with STOCK shocks its gonna be a shitty ride POINT BLANK. I havent had any problems with my DZ products.

dude, get them. i have them and its the best benjamin i have ever spent on my car. i have them on illuminas. when the shocks are set on 1 or 2 its a very good ride. when theyre on 5, it means business.

maybe they dont change the setting that much because alignments are 100+ bux a pop!

im thinkin about buying these next spring as a guinnea pig since no one has done any good write ups on them. but for $650 shipped you're a lot better off than getting drop zone ****.

maybe they are bouncy and i just dont notice, for i have no other spring to compare it to. other than sportlines on a 91 hatch, which was way soft, but their rates are way lower too(like 286 lb/in) so, the stiffer the spring, the bouncier they tend to be. f.y.i.- the rates on DZ's are 350/450

Everyone dogs DZ. They are probably the best bang for the buck.
