Where to buy inspection sticker in NJ?
So far I haven't had any luck. Tried state inspection numerous times, and private shops. No one really wants to help me. I just drive around with the rejected sticker and paper work in my car.
it wouldnt be a great idea to post it up on the internet.... feds will flock over to that station and shut it down. you will leave people with fines and without jobs just for a silly inspection sticker
Just curious but why would you do that then?? You KNOW that you are going to have to get inspected, so why do things that keep you from passing?? As much as I like HIDs, I still don't have any because I feel the need to pass inpection and stay legal.

Im not the one who started the thread. Im not worried about passing inspection. I hardly drive my car anyways, its sits in the garage. Yet the thread starter seems to have some concern, so help him out instead. I will be fine on my own.

Believe me, it was'nt a flame directed at you, rather a serious question. I'm just curious why people do things to not pass inspection without a "backup" plan??

How did you get an OB1 ECU into a OBD2 car? Did you use a conversion harness?
I mean, I had a 2000 civic sedan 3 years ago w/ a 95 GSR engine and used a 99 SI ecu and I passed without any problems and that was at a state inspection center in NY.

Now they are plugging into the OBDII port and checking that way. That won't pass anymore.

Yes I believe in August of this year is when it was passed in NJ. If you are doing something radical to a daily driver I would definatly get a back up plan on how to get a sticker.

Not in New Jersey you cant pass. The compter at the inspection station plugs into a 16 pin obd2 plug in your car. It tells the computer if the car is throwing any codes, if its running right, etc..
Although in your situation since you have a 01 motor which is obd2, if you keep an obd2 computer you techincally can pass if everything is hooked up.
