Default My Two Weekend Project Cars [Loaded with Photos]

Its about that time of year again and my car projects for 2003 are winding down. My Integra was recently winterized with ITR Springs installed. For next year, Clutch, Flywheel and suspension bushings are on the venue.

Before (left) and After (right):

My 1995 Nissan Maxima GLE was the second project car for me to work on . The car had been bone stock since purchase in 1995. After 8 years and 52k miles, I decided it was time to spruce things up a bit. Body restoration/enhancements and performance upgrades were all planned out and performed in a 6 week period. I guess you could say I went all out on the second car.

In the process [6 weeks]

- First day home

- After a Wash and wax

The exhaust is mated to a Stillen Y and B pipe with Carsound Cat

and two night photos:

I have a several projects brewing for 2004 so im glad these two cars are done (for the moment). Enjoy the pics everyone.

the diffence is roughly about an inch. The car does not feel as planted and stable on the road but it does wonders on new york city streets. Oh, here's a trick that i could not manage before without scraping up the front lip.

This is the car pulling straight out of a driveway. Less scrapes as well

Eric,

I got a set of 9000k hella HID's last october (2002).
They do make the car stand out a bit coz the guys at the parking lots in manhattan are always asking if its a show car. (always prompts me to check if anything's missing when i pick up the car ) *gasp*

Hey, hows it going. You remember the bumper was originally purple. My bodyshop refinished it in white and you'd think it was stock. I couldnt tell the difference anymore. Without your rear bumper, i couldnt have the OEM rear valances installed so im forever very grateful.

I put on itr springs and still using my tokico shocks. They stiffer than stock but soft enough to be comfortable for a daily driver. The 1 inch rise improves the ride but compromises the handling slightly... not enough to miss it for city driving...

I really liked your Gray teg. reminded me of mine was when i first her up. Glad to see you picked up a GSR tho. Yeah definitely meetup for a photoshoot one of these days. im sharpening up the photoshop skills and all.
