automatic or manual p28?
you will know as soon as you plug it in. you will throw CEL if your cars i 5 speed and it is a auto ecu. and if your car is auto and the ecu is a 5 speed your car wont change gears.

If it is a P28-A00, A01, A02, L00, L01 or L02, it is a manual ECU. If it is a P28-A50, A51, A52, L50, L51, or L52 it is automatic. If you need a manual ECU, and yours is an auto, it can be converted to manual. Look here: http://www.hondata.com/downloa...l.doc

Auto to manual isn't hard but the manual doesn't have the two fets required to operate the shift solinoids on an auto car, so manual to auto is much harder.
