can i put 4300k bulbs in my 6000k hid kit?
hid bulbs can just be swtitched, right? i have a 6000k phillips hid kit but it's a little too blue - i can tell i'm not getting the right color light. i want to try a different bulb but want to make sure it works
I believe each ballast is rated for the particular capsule application. Meaning you can't interchange capsules of different color temps.

Nope, ballast does nothing but ignite and sustain the arc in the bulb. Of course you can change bulbs as long as the base is the same. You can put 6000K and even higher ricer HID bulbs in cars that came w/ OEM HID.
