Default reference: 1/4 miles timeslips for different vehicles

1992 Prelude Si 4ws 5speed: 0-60 (7.2) , 1/4 mile (15.8)@90mph
*As tested by Car and Driver*

1996 Prelude V-tec 5speed: 0-60 (??) , 1/4 mile (15.1)
*As tested by Car and Driver*

1997 Prelude SH 5speed: 0-60 (7.1) , 1/4 mile (15.6)@91mph
*As tested by Car and Driver*

http://www.angelfire.com/pa3/f....htm
The link above shows 0-60 and 1/4 miles runs on stock vehicles from different automakers. The list is not complete but it gives you an idea of how fast some cars are out the assembly line. If other members have websites to other sites related to the topic please post them up.

This is also a good place to post your 1/8 mile and/or 1/4 mile times. Also it would be informative to those reading this thread that you let us know (if you want) what modifications were done to achieve those times.

1/8 mile: 9.5 @ 77 mph
engine: h23a1
mods: no power steering belt, by-passed cold start valve, custom cold-air intake, and 60 shot of n2o.

comments: The e.t. sucks i know. I got 2.4 60' times which is terrible .... they should 2.2 or better. i just dumped the clutch and floored the gas. Very bad technique. hopefully i'll get better next time i go to the track.

91 GMC syclone is rare about 3000 produced but found some info... here you go...
Best Track Times w/o Mods
Best 60' - 1.70
Best 1/8th Mi - 8.39@79mph
Best 1/4th Mi - 13.41@98mph

not bad for a stock domestic awd

i ran at fontana, (cali speedway) during summer.
3rd gen prelude-stock 12" subwoofer removed.
16.39 1/4
i think... 86mph trap. i cant find my time slip at the moment. but since it was hot and i was at a fairly high altitude. i'd be in the high 15's if not close.

HEY FELLOW LUDERS PLEASE POST YOUR E.T.'s HERE.......

THE WEBSITE POSTED WAS NOT CREATED BY ME....
I KNOW THE TIMES ARE NOT THAT ACCURATE BUT THEY GIVE AN APPROXIMATION ILL SEARCH FOR MORE WEBSITES THAT ARE UP TO DATE (any help is appreciated).....

ALSO MEMBERS THAT POSTED HERE ALREADY ... PLEASE DELETE YOUR POSTS IF IT IS NOT DIRECTLY RELATED TO E.T.'s .... IT IS NOT THAT I DONT APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS... BUT I WOULD LIKE IT TO BE A EASY READ FOR THOSE DOING A SEARCH AND/OR THAT WANT TO POST THERE TIMES HERE.... ( mods i would appreciate your help ).

THE REASON I MADE THIS POST WAS FOR MAINLY THE NEW MEMBERS THAT ALWAYS ASK, "HOW FAST WOULD MY CAR BE IF DID THIS....?". THIS WAY WE COULD ALWAYS DIRECT THEM HERE AND GIVE THEM AN IDEA. ALSO IT IS NICE TO HAVE A DATABASE LIKE THIS IN THIS SITE. BESIDES IF IT IS ALLOWABLE TO HAVE A POST DEDICATED TO PRELUDE PICTURES WHY NOT THIS.

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Actually Car & Driver later did a comparison with the 4th gen VTEC, Eagle Talon TSI, Celica GT, Integra GS-R, etc. & the 4th gen ran a 15.1 in the quarter.
