i want to do a engine swap for my 93 del sol si(sohc) but i wonder what engine i should get, i wanted to get a b16a in the first place but people tell me i should just go all the way for a GSR engine and then other say go LS-Vtech, so now im stuck....what do you guys prefer? and can you include on how much $$ i would end up spending for the whole swap....also to do a LS-vtech motor what does that include a B20 head on a ls block? alright thanks for ya'll's time

search and ull learn more but go ls/vtec then boost the bitch

first off, there is no honda head that came with "v-tech" second, there was no b20 head that had vtec stock. and third just do a search. you will learn more than you could ever want to know.

my opinion is this. its not worth swapping out the single cam 1.6 for a dohc 1.6 beast. its still a 1.6

go with a b18c1 bare minimum or dont even bother. and you honestly have to ask yourself what you want out of this car. RR/AutoX, drag race, fun street car. that will ultimately have the biggest factor in what you should do.
