Default Attn: Lude Owners who track their cars!!! Suspension question.

And by tracking....I mean people who roadrace their cars!! People who DON'T....please DO NOT reply.

Ok, I am currently running my OEM suspsension with 166K miles on it. I had a track event this past weekend and the car handled VERY well. At no point did the car feel unpredictable. However, I have not experienced the way a Prelude with a newer suspension handles so I am wondering if there is room for improvement.

My question is.....I want to upgrade my suspension. I want to replace atleast the shocks since they are so old. However, I am concerned about ruining the handling ability that I am currently used to. I do not want to choose a suspension that will make my car unpredictable/handle worse.

I am curious what your experience was upgrading yours. Please let me know what you upgraded to and how the car handles now. Does it oversteer more/understeer more?? As predictable as before...but better???

Right now I am thinking about just installing a new set of KYB AGX shocks with the OEM springs but i want to get your input first to weigh my options. Also, I use my Prelude mainly for tracking. I am not concerned about driveability on the streets.

Thanks
