Yes again...rubber suspension spring silencer thingies
Dropped by my local Honda dealership and asked about these things. They guy behind the counter let me look through his database they use and we couldn't find it. Where can I find these things and how much are they. Or does anyone have a set laying around they don't need?
I really am interested in these too. My spring clatter drives me nuts and makes me feel like I'm driving a piece of junk. I'm considering making something or wrapping my coils in with something soft.
there is two types, one is these "rubber things" that wrap on the top two rings of the springs....(they are on the stock civic springs.......u can just take them out and swap them....if they fit).................and i know that energy suspension makes these...spring pads...(i think thats what they call them).......
I was looking at the dealers parts list for suspension of the 2000 civic si and they weren't there. Where we looking at the wrong model/year?
i don't think they just sell these "rubber thingies".............they come with the stock springs...........try to look for someone that lower their car......and just get it from them............btw, i am not sure if they will fit!!!
I'm gonna try coating the springs with some liquid rubber stuff from home depot. If it doesn't work, it's easy to peal off. I'll let ya know how it goes.

Not #9. Actually it's not even in that picture. Someone posted a pic of these on some springs a while back. They are just rubber pieces that wrap around the first 4 coils.
#9 is the spring pearch isolater. they want something to wrap around the coil.

I have the same problem, just installed eibachs and they rattle in the back. Well I took some of your advise and headed to Lowe's and looked for the rubber that they dip the tools in. Just then it stuck me, this ma be a heck of a lot cheaper. Get abouta foot or two of tubing from the plumbing dept and thread it up the spring to the top. I don't know how it'll work tell me what you think, cuz I might give it a try this weekend.
