Default O.T. Scions for racing?

I've met quite a few Scion owners on this board as of late and has anyone even considered pondering the idea of enhancing it's performance? All the owners seems enthusiastic about their cars but I'm sure the OEM rated 108 hp can be a bit discouraging. Please share your opinions fellow H-T members.

There was one that had a turbo kit on it at one of the local races and it ran 15.6 which is preatty good considering that mine ran 17.9 stock!! I would fix it up but it's my family car and I'm trying to build my '90 Crx and my wife's '01 Gsr first!! Love the Scion Xb!!

Those fruitloops over at power enterprise makes a supercharger for the jdm one's, but im assuming they work for the scion's out here...

Hey eric, that element that rev hard has..is it boosting?

Thanx for the replies so far guys. 15.6 huh? That's alot of money for a 15.60 but it's definitely a significant improvement over 17.9's.

Yeah, I'd do it for the difference but it's fine for now!!! The stock power is ok for around town and the 31mpg is great.

Did you buy the XB as well? Most people seems to be partial to the XB's as opposed to the XA.
