you need to pull some codes and/or clear codes. see my sig. Probably you need to bleed the abs system.

dude.....mines the same way....but my abs is shot.....on the 94 accord, theres a number of possible codes dealing w/ the abs light, but u can only check one at a time (later models can chekc for multiple).....so its practically impossible to diagnose.....if u know ur abs is still working, i wouldnt really worry about it, but if its not.....about the only thing u can do is replace ur abs, or unhook the fuse to that light....also....can u hear ur ABS pump running for a few min after u turn on teh ign?????

Try cleaning the wheel sensor, reset the code and see if it comes back.

Edit: Just spray some brake cleaner in there. Follow the single wire on your upper control arm to where it meets the cv joint. You will see a notched metal ring around the cv boot. Make sure there is no grease/dirt on it and spray the brake cleaner where the sensor meets this ring...

The pulsar is the ring that is around the outer cv joint. You should look it over and be sure none of the raised areas have any nicks in them. That is one thing that will cause it to give off that reading.

You should find out what the code is first .....You check it the same way you would check your CEL (Check Engine Light). Look under your glove box for a blue plug with a 2 wire setup. Then after you find that you take a paper clip and connect the 2 wires by loopin the paper clip thru the 2 holes from the socket. Then turn on your car to the accessory switch on the igition. Your ABS light will flash in a specific sequence which will tell you the code. For Example. My light blinked 3 times then paused....then it blinked 2 times.... then it was a longer pause and it started over again....So the code was 32 for my vehicle.

See what code you get and post it ....i'm sure someone will answer it.

If not just take it into Autozone or one of those shops and have them scan it

So the Pulsar is just a ring??
hmm...

ok..thanks for the tip
I will check that out tomorrow.

Would there be anything else in that area that can cause that light to come on?

I might as well look for other problems while I am there in case there are no nicks in that area.

Thanks

You can also try to check out the sensor itself.

The way you do that is to disconnect it at the connector before the sensor. With an OHM meter you want to probe the 2 terminals inside the connector. Put the positive on one terminal and the negative on the other. See if you get a reading. Now ... switch them around. You SHOULD get a reading one way ... BUT ... not the other. There is a diode in the sensor and that is why you will only get a reading in one direction. If you do get readings both ways ... replace the sensor.

This is a picture of an ABS sensor ... yours may not look exactly like this ... but it will be close. You will be able to see it mounted close to the ring on the outer cv joint.
