everyone wants to sell there JUNK for the highest dollar but in return they don't want to pay anything for the stuff they want .. (ex LOWBALLERS)
for example a USED set of rims and tires (that are crap and worn out) for $700........
HA H AHA are they freaking crazy and not know i can go almost anywhere and get a brand new **** for that price!

THE JUNK IS USED PEOPLE! you are not going to get what you paid for it!

this applies with any business and market...Honda scene are so huge and it escalated more than any out there...but the ratios are the same wherever no matter what..

This is good for consumer as sellers compete to give out the best pricing...

H-T isn't only place it happens. It's something that's bound to occur when there isn't preset price on items, like when you go to grocery, department, drug, etc. store. You just have to deal w/ it if you want to sell anything here.

exactly. People here tend to set a price based on their perceived value. I dont think they are necessarily trying to rip people off.

 

I am sick of the opposite people trying to offer me $20 bucks for something that is clearly worth $50 and then to add salt to the wounds its how about $20 shipped?? Well the thing is so damn big that its going to cost me that in just shipping costs!! I mean sure I know the stuff is used and all and I may not be getting a bunch of interest in a said item but why would I sell it to someone on here for $20 bucks not make any money after shipping costs and the time i put into bosing it when I could sell it on Ebay for atleast 3 times that and thast without shipping!!

So I think it goes a bit both ways people asking too much (for some things) and then people lowballing the hell out of you.

Exactly, I normally sell my used stuff for about half the value I paid for it plus estimated shipping, and I don't take offers. It is X amount shipped, lowballers can go home.

how bout when people sell their **** for too much why dont you say something politely, and when people lowball tell them to go die somewhere.....problem solved.

 

once a guy offered me 250 shipped for a whole junkyard turbo set up. And then when i said i would need more then that he tried to flame me telling everyone i was asking way toooo much for my stuff. Then i went and looked at one of his for sale ad's and he was selling a junkyard t3 for 180 bucks...****** people

 

Everybody is looking to make the best deal on things basically. Not necessarily trying to screw anyone else. I kind of have mixed issues on this, but bottom line, if its too much for you, then you don't have to buy it. Most of the time, even when things are used, its a lot cheaper than buying it new. If not, then buy the thing new!

 

I only buy on trust factor, if person A has a product for $50 cheaper then person B, but person B is a respected member and person A is just a nobody that can't hardly speak english...i'll pay the extra.

Get used to it, especially with honda's a lot of people don't have tons of money and want to spread their money out the best way they can.

If you don't like the price don't buy it. I don't see why someone should have to take a 50% loss on their part for a product that they only used for 1-2 weeks either. The part is used yes, but still functions and looks exactly like new.

Common sense, if only it could be bought.
