Or is tuning with just vafc and ignition timing good enough considering I don't have aftermarket cams?

 

with the cam gears and no after market cams i see the only thing you being able to do is maybe get more top end or bottom end kinda tune the car to were u want. i wouldn't spend the money on them unless ur gona get cams

 

Probably won't extract much horsepower with the stock motor, it shouldn't need tuning.

 

its depend if your like me every little bit helps so i say tune away if you have the money
