7:30 am today
I hate deer broke my corner light, bent the corner of my fender, shattered my headlight, and dented the front corner of the the hood in a little. Any tips on how I can get this dent outta my hood. Its prob 6-8"s around.

Read this thread, he gives praise to a member for killing two deers. He also gives NO remorse for killing an innocent animal and begins to blame the deer for it's 'fault'. So before you slander people why not read the whole thread...

hey are you only allowed to flame a person if you have more posts then them...i was just "analizing" and found out that most of the people who flame have more posts then them....BTW deer eat over 10thousand dollars worth of crops. a year. hahaha i dont like them but they scare the **** outa me when they come running in the middle of the road and stop and dont know where to go....

I almost hit 3 deer at one time on saturday night.. 3 damn deer in my lane. My brother(archidictus) would have been pist since i was driving his car.

Ah, thanks for clarifing, then I do apoligize...

 

Don't know how to fix it but I would search local junkyards for parts. You can also look at certi-fit.com, they make OEM body panels at great prices.

BTW: In this situation, I think the civic was the victim, not the deer.

John, trust me on this, its not worth to fix your hood most likely. By the time you put all the labor into fixing it to make it perfect, you could have just bought a new hood and painted it. Even if other people don't realize it, because you fixed it but its still just there, it will bother you because its not perfect.

Most body shops just buy new hoods when they "fix" your hoods because its cheaper.

Glad you only managed to break my windshield wipers .

 

yeah I guess Im gonna rock the dents on the hood for now until spring and get a carbon then....My buddy had a spare light so thats good and the corner I zip tied sort of inplace I'll order up some ambers. As for the fender I'll get a new one in due time.

 

why dont u just claim it on ur insurance...a deer is an act of god on insurance policies, that is if u have full coverage i think. its right in the same category as hail.
