my jdm steering wheel-please help!
hi guys, i just bought a jdm srs steering wheel from this guy for a $100 who needed to abandon his project. i have an R, but i don't know if the wheel fits-i bought it 'cause of the price. how can i tell by looking at it if its for a civic or integra without the hassle of removing my stock one first? any input greatly appreciated, thanks.
Do the key holes line up right to left or top to bottom? Id it a MOMO/SRS or just the standard JDM TYPE-R one?
Thanks,

these are pics of a civic-r srs momo hub. note the notch in the splined shaft in relation to everything else on the hub:

if yours is like this, then it's ek9. your only recourses are:
a) fabricate a new hub
b) buy an ek civic!
b) sell it to me!

Ben, so you replaced that whole piece? I wasn't sure how far you guys went to change the hub to fit. Shoot out the details!!

as i had said awhile back, i had the entire hub custom machined out of a steel and a splined shaft cut from a wrecked usdm dc2 steering wheel and welded on. it's a lot of work for a one-off, which is why most machine shops don't find it feasible to do. good luck
