Anyone know if the autometer universal fuel level sender will work in a DA?

just kinda tossin' some new dashboard ideas around, thought i'd ask.
this would be in the stock fuel tank (which i have to drop for a new pump eventually anyway, so i'm entertaining some thoughts).
