Friend selling me his used aem cai and his factory gsr rims (painted black) for my factory ls rims and $100 (in addition to my ls rims). pointless details.. He has a white 96 ls and i have a '00 black ls.. my car is completely stock i got it a month ago. good deal?

 

gsr swirlies (98-01 gsr)? if so I would say hell yeah, granted the tires are in good shape on the swirlies

I would just strip the black and paint gun metal.

 

If i decided to paint them gunmetal, would it damage the rims at all to strip them once again? Is powder coating a good idea?

the GS Mesh wheels? i think they're dope, keep them, and use the money to buy the intake, i'm sure you can find one for cheap. GSR 6-spokes are played out in my honest opinion, also while i'm feeling opinionated, go for the stock look too and spend money on performance which ever path you take tho,

that's what i did, and came out pretty nice
