Just installed atenna switch today
just thought id share with you guys. i installed an antenna swich.
i started around 12pm today...had lunch and got to work. i had to remove the center console, ashtray, and stereo to do this. special thanks to: http://www.sandmracing.com/santennaswitch.html

well your antenna can bend when youre driving playing a cd. especially on the freeway. push the rocker switch up and down and it retracts...works fine, and it wont leak like some s2k antennas

i did one with a rocker switch i placed by the ebrake..those little rectangle pieces..
radio shack has these tiny circle rocker switches..
but now i have another alpine deck that doesn't make the antenna go up till the radio hehe

I think most aftermarket headunits automatically switch off the power antenna output when you change to anything other than radio.

is there a way of doing this without putting a switch. I just want to cut some wire and keep the thing down for good, because I don't use my radio anyway.
