Default EK hatchback from paint shop

Ok, this is my 1st (and only so far) post w/pics in this forum per every 3 months, but I figure this one came out looking good so I'll post some pics here.....

Rest of the huge gallery is here: http://www.JDMshit.com/EKhatch

Finally got it back from my friend's paint shop this weekend, and washed it up today (was raining like a **** when I had to drive back down 7hrs ) and took some pics to show how it turned out. When we originally got the car, the moldings were already filled in.... not that good, but filled in so there was still a lot of body work that had to be done but now it looks nice & straight and you can see the body line. The H22 pic is actually taken before it went to the body shop (it's dirty now and I didn't have any degreaser to clean it up, but it looks better with a stock Honda intake & box).

Some misc specs.... GSR cluster, Del Sol seats, no interior panels (except for door panels & dash), Hondata P28, USDM H22A1 w/butterfly stack removed, 2.5" exhaust, Tein Basic coilovers, old skool blasted Slipstreams w/Azenis tires (drove great at high speeds on the freeway in the rain), shaved antenna & rear wiper holes, misc JDMsh!t parts (CF CTR base w/fiberglass top, Spoon style mirrors, CTR grill, CTR front & rear lips, etc). Probably won't do too much more to it except put on some rear disc brakes, new wheels (those wheels we use for the road course), and clean up the interior & repaint that. Enjoy & flame away .

I never saw and EK without the moldings before, and I can't say that I like it... it bothers me more that I can see the spot towards the front of the door where the moldings would start.. but the rest of it looks good

Yup, it's stock VSM. Like I said up above, we got the car already with the door moldings shaved and filled in. If we didn't, then I would've left it alone and stock. But since the previous owner fucked up the doors, my friend had quite a bit of work ahead of him to straighten the doors up, but you can see the body line still down the side of the car and it's perfectly smooth... absolutely no waves what so ever . But for the price (under $1500 for all body work and complete paint job w/DuPont paint & dual stage clear ), and how it turned out, it's not too shabby but a little ricey to my tastes, but clean.

very nice paintjob and overall its very nice, but i would kept the molding, it just doesnt look right on a civic with shave molding, people need to understand because the shape on civic it would make the car look ugly.

Those look like 99-00 headlights Did you modify them to go on the 96-98 front.
