Sorry for my n00b question but I am a teg owner and I actually have a 99 civic bumper for sale..long story how I got it but anyways does it fit a 98 civic or just 99-00??

no the 99-00 bumper wont fit on a 96-98 civic. You need to change the fenders, grill, hood, headlights in order to fit that bumper on a 96-98 civic.

so if those parts you listed are changed........will it bolt on properly, like fit? Or will it not even come close

It will all bolt up if you do all of the above.

 

Yes everything will bolt up to OEM fitment when you change all those things out.

I have seen it done just trimmed out the top of the bumpter for the headlights so it would fit looked good.
